Homemade Pita Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. If you are using a pizza stone, place in oven while it is preheating.
  2. Lay out your pitas and ladle 2 tablespoons sauce on each pita, leaving room for crust.
  3. Top with mozzarella (1/4 cup cheese on each pizza) and pepperoni (3 slices each).
  4. Cook pizza for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Top with fresh basil and enjoy.
  6. Note: I prefer the taste of deli pepperoni but any other pepperoni substitute will do.
