Savory Beef Roulades Recipe

  1. 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 c. tomato juice
  2. For stuffing, combine all ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Cut steaks into 6 pcs.
  5. Sprinkle proportionately with salt.
  6. Place 1/4 c. stuffing in center of each piece.
  7. Roll up; fasten securely with two skewers, toothpicks or possibly tie with string.
  8. Roll in flour.
  9. Brown meat rolls in a small amount of warm shortening in large frying pan.
  10. Add in the 1 c. of tomato juice.
  11. Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till tender.
  12. If necessary add in more tomato juice.
  13. Makes 6 servings.
