Amish Friendship Bread Recipe

  1. ***Don't use metal spoon
  2. ***Don't chill dough!

  4. day 1 - Get starter and do nothingday 2 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 3 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 4 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 5 - Add in 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. lowfat milk and stir day 6 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 7 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 8 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 9 - Stir once each day with wooden spoon day 10 - Add in 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. lowfat milk and stir.
  5. pour into containers of 1 c. each and give to 3 friends with copy of recipe (or possibly 2 friends and keep 1 start for yourself)
  6. To the remainder add in:2/3 c. oil 1 1/4 tsp baking pwdr 3 Large eggs 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp salt1 c. sugar 2 tsp vanilla2 tsp cinnamon
  7. Pour into 2 well greased and sugared loaf pans.
  8. Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
  9. at 350 degrees.
  10. Cold 10 min before removing from pan.
  11. The bread may be frzn for a later date.
  12. (note the starter)
