Whole Wheat Apple Pancakes Recipe

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Combine lowfat milk, apple, and egg; add in to flour mix, stirring till smooth.
  3. Place a griddle or possibly skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat till warm.
  4. Spoon batter, 2 Tbsp.
  5. at a time, onto griddle.
  6. Cook till edges are slightly dry.
  7. Turn; cook other side till golden.
  8. Repeat procedure with remaining batter.
  9. Yield: 20 (3 inch) pancakes (about 45 calories per pancake).
