Wisconsin Whoppers
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate squares
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
- 2/3 cup butter
- 6 cup rolled oats (not quick cooking)
- 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp vanilla (I use extra)
- With a mixer, cream sugars, butter and peanut butter for about 3 minutes.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time.
- Beat 1 minute more.
- Add oats and baking soda.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Shred the chocolate squares with a knife and mix into the cookie batter.
- Add vanilla.
- Drop onto cookie sheets.
- Flatten cookies with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped frequently in water.
- Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.
