Red Velvet Cakeballs

  1. Prepare and bake cake mix following package directions for a 13 x 9 cake; let cool.
  2. Crumble cooled cake in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in cream cheese frosting.
  4. Roll mixture into balls the size of quarters.
  5. Freeze on a baking sheet for several hours or overnight.
  6. Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
  7. Dip balls into chocolate and place on waxed paper.
  8. Let sit until firm.
