Florida beef back ribs
- 2 racks of beef back ribs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 Florida man's bar b que sauce (see recipes)
- Mix all marinade ingredients till the sugar dissolves.
- Marinate for 6 hours up to 2 days.
- Pat dry then smoke ribs at 300 to 350 for a few hours basting every 30 minutes.
- I like to use oak for the smoke but that is not a rule.
- Make the bar b que sauce in advance.
- During the final 30 minutes start slopping on the bar b que sauce and let it thicken.
- Save a little for dinner.
- Enjoy.
