Simple Baked Chicken Taquitos
- 2 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken Or Freeze-dried Chicken
- 1 package Taco Seasoning (1 Ounce Size)
- 23 cups Water
- 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 10 Tortillas
- Salt
- If using freeze dried chicken, you should completely or partially rehydrate the chicken before combining with the seasoning.
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine chicken and seasoning in a pan with the water.
- Heat it over medium heat, stirring as you go.
- Once hot, remove from heat and add cream cheese.
- Stir until creamy.
- Add cheddar and mix to combine.
- Put your tortillas on your work surface.
- Spoon the filling onto tortillas and roll them up.
- Place them seam side down on a baking sheet.
- When done creating taquitos, spray them with baking spray and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
- For crispier taquitos, flip over halfway through baking.
