Mark's Irish Brown Bread

  1. Place all dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix well together.
  2. Slowly add in the buttermilk and mix to a wet consistency.
  3. Preheat your oven to 180 cup(350 f.)
  4. Butter and flour loaf tins.
  5. Divide mixture between loaf tins, fill to 3/4 capacity and smooth out.
  6. Place in oven for 30 mins.
  7. remove and turn bread upside down, then
  8. return to oven for a further 15/20 mins.
  9. Bread should sound hollow when tapped on base.
