Bulgogi (Barbequed Beef)
- 2 pounds Sirlion Or Flank Steak
- 4 whole Cloves Garlic, Pressed
- 5 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1 cup Beef Stock
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- Slice beef across the grain into thin strips.
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl.
- Add meat to the marinade and mix until all sides of the beef are well coated.
- Best results are obtained if the meat is marinated for at least two hours or overnight.
- Grill.
- Make sure to lay the beef strips horizontally on the grill or else they will fall through!
- Cooks for 5-10 minutes, but watch very carefully as they cook quickly and will burn due to the sugar!
- Serve with hot sticky or white rice and broccoli.
- One of my favorite meals!
- Enjoy!
