Turkey Meat Loaf Recipe
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 1/2 c. (6 slices) soft bread crumbs
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 lbs. grnd turkey
- 2 beef bouillon cubes (low sodium)
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar-Swiss cheese combination
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. celery, minced
- Beat egg lightly in large bowl.
- Add in ketchup, mustard, basil, thyme, and pepper and mix thoroughly.
- Add in bread crumbs.
- Dissolve bouillon in boiling water and add in to mix.
- Let cold.
- Stir in cheese, celery, and onion.
- Break up grnd turkey and add in to bowl.
- Mix lightly but thoroughly.
- Shape into loaf and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
- Serves 12.
