Hot Crab Bake

  1. In skillet, melt 4 tablespoons butter; blend in flour.
  2. Add milk all at once, cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  3. Stir in crab meat, chopped eggs, pimiento.
  4. 1 teaspoon salt, and 18 teaspoon pepper.
  5. Spoon mixture into 6 individual casserole dishes or baking shells.
  6. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter, toss with bread crumbs to combine.
  7. Sprinkle crumbs atop crab mixture.
  8. Top with slivered almonds.
  9. Bake uncovered, at 350F (180C)., for 20 to 25 minutes.
