Cheddar Apple Crock Pot Pork Chops
- 5 -6 pork chops (medium thickness)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup applesauce
- 12 cup milk
- 1 -2 mcintosh apple (sliced)
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- salt and pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil on medium high heat.
- 2.
- Prepare rub for porkchops by mixing onion powder, apple pie spice, seasoned salt, salt and pepper.
- 3.
- Rub pork chops wih spices and place in hot oil.
- 4.
- Brown both sides of pork chops for 2-3 minutes.
- 5.
- With a fork place pork chops in the bottom of crock pot keeping leftover oil in the skillet.
- 6.
- Turn stove down to medium and place skillet back on stove add garlic and apples.
- Saute for 3-4 minutes.
- (BE CAREFUL not to burn garlic it will ruin the taste of the whole dish).

- Place apples and garlic in crock pot.
- 8.
- In a medium sized bowl mix milk, cheese soup and apple sauce.
- Pour mixture over pork chops.
- Add bay leaf.
- Cook fo 4-5 hours on low in crock pot.
- 9.
- A half hour before cooking time is done sprinkle shredded cheddar and replace cover so cheese melts.
- I serve this dish with rice and steamed broccoli.
