Parsley-Basil Sauce
- 1/2 c. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 slice white bread
- 3 c. flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 c. basil leaves
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. Freshly ground pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse, scraping down sides of blender with a rubber spatula, until a thick, smooth sauce forms.
