Frost On The Pumpkin Cookies
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- Cream Cheese Frosting
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In small mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, soda and nutmeg.
- Set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, beat butter for 1 minute.
- Add granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy.
- Add egg, pumpkin and vanilla; beat well.
- Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture; mix until well blended.
- Stir in raisins and walnuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes.
- Transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.
- Frost with cream cheese frosting.
