All-American Whiskey Sour

• 1 1/2 oz Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky
• 3 1/2 oz. fresh Sweet and Sour Mix
• 3 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
• 1 quart water
• 1 quart fresh lime juice (lemon juice can be substituted to taste)
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 egg white (optional, gives a great frothiness to any shaken drink)

1. Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake vigorously for five seconds.
3. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.
4. Garnish with an orange and cherry "flag".
5. Sweet and Sour Mix:
6. Stir ingredients together until sugar is fully dissolved.
