Sukiyaki(Japan)

  1. Slice meat paper thin into 3 or 4-inch long pieces.
  2. Brown in bacon grease.
  3. Mix together soy sauce, sugar and water.
  4. Add to meat.
  5. Reduce temperature; cook until tender, about 30 or 40 minutes.
  6. Place vegetables on top of meat; mix together.
  7. Add Accent according to directions on container.
  8. Cook 5 minutes, covered.
  9. Add green onions; toss with meat mixture for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  10. Serve over steamed rice.
  11. Top with broken pieces of watercress (optional).
  12. Makes 6 servings.
