Non-Fried Tofu Minced Katsu

  1. Microwave the tofu for 1 minute, add the warmed tofu, finely chopped shiitake mushrooms, chicken tenders, grated wheat gluten, and flavoring ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Add the meat mixture from step 1 in a pan coated with olive oil after rolling them up into bite-sized portions, add Japanese sake, and steam cook.
  3. Once one side has browned a bit, flip over, and transfer to a plate after they have cooked through.
  4. The meat mixture up to this point is the same as "Diet No-Fry Tofu Sweet N' Spicy Meatballs", so you can use half to make these.
  5. Cover with flour, whisked egg, and panko, cook in a pan coated with olive oil, and take them out onto plates after they have turned golden brown.
  6. Garnish with soy sauce, lemon, or ketchup, and it is done .
