Veggie Packed Sweet-Savory Pork Rice Bowl
- 200 grams Pork
- 1/2 of a big carrot Carrots
- 3 leaves Cabbage
- 1 pack Shimeji mushrooms
- 1 dash Wood ear mushrooms (optional)
- 1 dash Katakuriko slurry (optional)
- 1 Egg (optional)
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sake
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) sauce
- Cut the vegetables into bite sized pieces.
- Saute the pork and carrots.
- Stir in the cabbage, shimeji mushrooms and rehydrated wood ear mushrooms.
- Add the combined sauce ingredients.
- Pour in the katakuriko slurry to thicken if you like.
- Top with a soft poached egg (optional).
