Cherry Streusel Coffee Cake Recipe
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 c. flour
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- Heat butter in sauce pan and set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 c. dry cake mix, yeast, flour, Large eggs and water.
- Beat 2 min at medium speed.
- Spread dough in greased 9 x 13 and set aside.
- In sauce pan combine remaining cake mix with cool melted butter.
- To make streusel top, spoon fruit filling over dough in pan.
- Sprinkle sugar over and then streusel over all.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min.
- When cool glaze.
- (1 c. 10x powdered sugar, 1 Tbsp.
- corn syrup, 1 Tbsp.
- water mixed.)
