Shepherd's Pie

  1. Saute onion in butter until tender.
  2. Add the diced beef, gravy, carrots, and peas.
  3. Heat through and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour into a casserole dish.
  5. Beat the egg into the potatoes and spoon over the meat and vegetables.
  6. Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
