Curry African Stew Recipe
- 2 lg. pkg. lean stew meat
- 2 lg. apples (peeled - cut into bite-size pcs)
- 1 onion minced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cominos seed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd chilies
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 3 cardamom pods
- 1 lg. can whole tomatoes
- 1 lg. can "Veg-All" (frzn vegetables can be used)
- Mix all ingredients (add in vegetables last 30 min) with stew meat and small amount of water, simmer 1 1/2 hrs.
- Prepare rice to serve 10 to 12.
- In individual small bowls, prepare following to be used as toppings for stew:
lean stew meat, apples, onion, garlic, tabasco sauce, curry pwdr, ginger, cominos seed, turmeric, grnd chilies, pods, tomatoes, vegetables
