Chicken Spaghetti
- 1 large hen
- 6 large onions, chopped
- 1 large stalk celery
- 2 (No. 303) cans tomatoes
- 1 can mushrooms (cut) and juice or substitute mushroom soup
- 2 large pkg. spaghetti
- 1 button garlic
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can English peas
- Boil hen until tender; add water to make 2 quarts.
- Set aside. Cut onions, celery, pepper and garlic.
- Cover and simmer until tender.
- Put paste, tomatoes, veggies and 2 cups broth in heavy pan.
- Cook slowly for 2 to 3 hours.
- Add peas and all other ingredients.
- Salt to taste.
- Add water to make 2 quarts.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add spaghetti and cut up chicken.
- Mix well.
- Bake in covered roaster in medium oven until hot.
- Serve with grated cheese.
