Easy Berry Freezer Jam

  1. Combine strawberries and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Allow to sit for 20 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.
  3. Combine pectin and water in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  4. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Stir the pectin into the strawberry-sugar
  6. mixture; continue stirring for 3 minutes.
  7. Pour into wide-mouth freezer jars, leaving 1/2-inch head space.
  8. Adjust caps and let stand until set, but no more than 24 hours.
  9. Freeze.
  10. Makes about 5 half pints.
