Simple & Healthy Soy Milk Carbonara
- 100 grams Pasta
- 1 Egg yolk
- 2 heaped tablespoons Grated cheese
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy milk 1
- 40 grams Bacon
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Coarsely ground black pepper
- 75 ml Soy milk 2
- 1 Extra fillings (e.g. mushrooms)
- Boil the pasta for 1 minute less than instructed to do so by the packet.
- Combine the egg yolks, soy milk 1, grated cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Cut the bacon into thin strips and fry in a frying pan (fry it in some olive oil for best results).
- Transfer the boiled pasta to the frying pan as well and mix it together with the bacon.
- Pour in soy milk 2 and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Stop the heat and add the mixture that was prepared in Step 2.
- The mixture will cook in residual heat.
- It's ready.
- When serving the pasta on a plate, transfer the mixture as you turn the plate clockwise so that it looks like it was served at a restaurant.
