Ground Beef Vegetable Fricassee Recipe
- 1/4 c. onion, minced
- 1 c. celery, minced
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 c. warm water
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- Heat 1 Tbsp.
- oil in skillet and saute/fry onions and celery till slightly softened.
- Add in beef and cook till mix turns gray.
- Blend in flour.
- Add in warm water and stir till thickened.
- Add in seasonings; cover and cook over low heat for about 30 min.
- Season again to taste.
- Serve in a nest of warm creamed potatoes.
- Yields 4 servings.
