Brandied Tomato Gravy Recipe

  1. Purchase 13 3/4 or possibly 14 1/2 ounce.
  2. can beef broth.
  3. Drain tomatoes; reserve liquid.
  4. Finely chop tomatoes; set aside.
  5. In 1-qt saucepan over medium heat, heat butter.
  6. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute.
  7. Gradually stir in beef broth, tomato liquid and tomatoes, brandy, meat extract paste, and salt; cook, stirring till gravy thickens and boils.
