Brandied Tomato Gravy Recipe
- 8 ounce. can tomatoes
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 14 ounce. can beef broth
- 1 tbsp. brandy
- 1/2 teaspoon meat-extract paste
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Purchase 13 3/4 or possibly 14 1/2 ounce.

- Drain tomatoes; reserve liquid.
- Finely chop tomatoes; set aside.
- In 1-qt saucepan over medium heat, heat butter.
- Stir in flour; cook 1 minute.
- Gradually stir in beef broth, tomato liquid and tomatoes, brandy, meat extract paste, and salt; cook, stirring till gravy thickens and boils.
