Grandmas Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 whole Onion, Chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 cups Carrots, Finely Diced
- 1/2 cups Celery, Finely Diced
- 2 cans (6 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste, Plus The Same Amount Of Water (Use The Cans To Measure)
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 1 teaspoon Oregeno
- 1 teaspoon Marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1 whole Bay Leaf
- Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic and cook for around 5-7 minutes.
- Add carrots and celery and cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in all the remaining ingredients.
- (Use the cans from the tomato paste and add the same amount of water to the sauce.)
- Bring to an almost-boil, then lower heat to a simmer.
- Cook for around 1 hour.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Serve over noodles and top with more Parmesean cheese if desired.
