Grandmas Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook for around 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add carrots and celery and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in all the remaining ingredients.
  5. (Use the cans from the tomato paste and add the same amount of water to the sauce.)
  6. Bring to an almost-boil, then lower heat to a simmer.
  7. Cook for around 1 hour.
  8. Remove bay leaf.
  9. Serve over noodles and top with more Parmesean cheese if desired.
  10. Enjoy!
