Split Pea Soup
- 1 lb. split peas (soak overnight)
- 2 to 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1 to 2 lg. carrots, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 lb. ham pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Enough water to fill to about 1-inch from top of crock pot.
- Cook in crock pot on high 5-6 hours, or low 10-12 hours.
