Dutch Style Beets Recipe
- 2 teaspoon chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. beet liquid
- 2 tbsp. vinegar or possibly lemon juice
- 1 (#2) can beets, diced and liquid removed
- Simmer onion in oil for 5 min.
- Add in four and blend.
- Add in seasonings, beet liquid, and vinegar.
- Cook till thick, stirring constantly.
- Add in beets and heat thoroughly.
- Serves 6.
