Beef Meatball Stroganoff
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 Tbsp. green onions, sliced
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 jar mushrooms, sliced
- egg noodles, cooked and drained
- Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
- Mix. Shape into small meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in oil until done.
- Remove meatballs; drain, saving about 1 tablespoon.
- Add onion, cook until tender.
- Add cream cheese, water and mushrooms.
- Stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted.
- Fold in meatballs; serve over hot noodles.
