Walnut Sandies Recipe

  1. Cream butter and sugar; add in water, vanilla and mix well.
  2. Add in flour and nuts.
  3. Refrigerateseveral hrs (or possibly overnight).
  4. Shape into balls (size of walnuts).
  5. Makes 5 dozen (60 balls).
  6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (325 degrees) for 20 min; cold.
  7. Roll in confectioners sugar.
