Sweet Potatoes

  1. Boil sweet potatoes until tender enough to stick with a fork but still firm.
  2. Cool, peel and cut into pieces and place in dish. (I use 4 or 5 large potatoes.)
  3. Stir together Karo, margarine, water and sugar.
  4. (Double these ingredients if you have a large dish of potatoes.)
  5. Pour over potatoes.
  6. Add remaining ingredients mixed together.
  7. Cook at 400u0b0 until thick.
  8. If necessary, place foil over top of potatoes after they have cooked for a while so that they won't scorch on top.
