Mark Bittmans Mint Julep

• Mint leaves
• 1 tablespoon simple syrup
• Ice
• 1/4 cup whiskey

1. Muddle mint leaves and the simple syrup in a glass, then add the ice and whiskey.
2. Garnish: lots of fresh mint.
