JPs Chili Cheese Wheels

  2. Roll out each crescent roll package into the shape of a rectangle.
  3. They should come out of the package like this, but they will have perforated seams.
  4. Either pinch the seams together until the rectangle is solid or use a rolling pin.
  5. (I would suggest rolling these out onto wax paper.)

  7. Mix Neufchatel cheese, taco seasoning, and hot sauce (if desired) until well blended.

  9. Stir green chilis and black olives into cheese mixture.
  10. 4.
  11. Spread the cheese mixture onto the crescent roll rectangles, half on each.
  12. 5.
  13. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly onto each rectangle.
  14. 6.
  15. Starting with the longest edge of each rectangle and roll up to form 2 logs.
  16. 7.
  17. Refrigerate for 1 hour or freeze for 15 minutes.
  18. (Makes it easier to slice the wheels.)
  19. 8.
  20. Remove from the freezer.
  21. Slice each log into half inch size wheels and place on baking sheet.
  22. 9.
  23. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
