Cream Soup From Scratch Recipe

  1. Combine ingredients.
  2. This is a dry roux which can be stored in an airtight container and kept on hand till it's needed.
  3. When ready for soup, add in 2 c. of cool water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till it thickens.
  4. If soup is too thick, add in a little more water to thin.
  5. For cream of mushroom soup, add in some sliced mushrooms a few min before removing from the stove.
