Pizza Sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes (whole, diced, whatever. Diced actually makes it easier)
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon oil
- nonstick cooking spray
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Spray a large pot with non stick spray or heat up the oil.
- Add the garlic and onion to the pot and cook until the onions become soft.
- Add the canned tomatoes and tomato paste, along with the seasoning and sugar.
- Cook until everything is heated and the flavors come together.
- This step is optional, use a blender to chop everything up a little better.
- I like mine kind of chunky, but some family members don't, so this comes in handy.
- Add to pizza crust and bake.
