Angel Food Doughnuts

  1. Beat cream and sour milk together until foamy.
  2. Add sugar and beat again.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Sift 2 cups flour with the other dry ingredients and add to the first mixture.
  6. Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
  7. Knead lightly.
  8. If possible, let stand at least one hour before rolling out 1/2-inch thick.
  9. Cut with doughnut cutters and fry in deep fat at 385F degrees.
