Ham And Cheese Casserole
- 2 c. well grated ham
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 16 slices white bread, trimmed
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
- Grease sides only of 9 x 13-inch dish.
- Place a layer of bread in dish and firmly pack ham on bread layers; sprinkle Cheddar cheese over ham and then place second layer of bread over ham and cheese.
- Sprinkle with Swiss cheese.
- Beat eggs, salt, dry mustard and milk.
- Pour over casserole.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, melt 1/2 stick of margarine and mix with corn flakes and put on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes or until big bubble comes up.
- Serves 8 to 10.
