Texas Lentil Dip
- 1 cup usa lentils, washed and drained
- 2 cups water
- 14 cup mayonnaise
- 14 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon red pepper
- salt, as needed
- tortilla chips
- Combine lentils and water in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil; reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes or until soft.
- Drain and mash lentils.
- Combine with remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
