The World'S Best Cookies
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. salad oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. uncooked rolled oats
- 1 c. Rice Krispies or crushed Corn Flakes
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg and mix well. Add oil and vanilla and mix well.
- Add oats, cereal and coconut. Add nuts and stir well.
- Combine flour, soda and salt; add to other ingredients and mix well.
- Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten with fork dipped in cold water.
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Bake cookies for 12 minutes.
- Cool a few minutes before removing.
- They stay moist and keep beautifully!
