5-Minute Grilled and Marinated Leeks

  1. Mix together the dressing ingredients.
  2. Chop the Japanese leek into 4-5 cm pieces, sprinkle with salt and olive oil (not listed above).
  3. Grill the Japanese leek on a grill or in a toaster oven until golden brown (about 10 minutes in an oven set to 200C).
  4. Be careful not to burn them!
  5. Soak the leeks in the dressing while still hot.
  6. Stir them up once or twice while marinating, and serve after about 5-10 minutes.
