5-Minute Grilled and Marinated Leeks
- 2 large Japanese leek
- 1 1/2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Whole grain mustard
- 1/2 tsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Black pepper
- Mix together the dressing ingredients.
- Chop the Japanese leek into 4-5 cm pieces, sprinkle with salt and olive oil (not listed above).
- Grill the Japanese leek on a grill or in a toaster oven until golden brown (about 10 minutes in an oven set to 200C).
- Be careful not to burn them!
- Soak the leeks in the dressing while still hot.
- Stir them up once or twice while marinating, and serve after about 5-10 minutes.
