Basic Mustard And Variations Recipe

  1. Blend all ingredients except egg yolks and let stand 2 hrs.
  2. Beat egg yolks into mix.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, over warm (not boiling)
  4. water till slightly thickened, about 5 min.
  5. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to a month.
  6. LIME MUSTARD: When adding egg yolks, also add in lime peel and juice and follow basic mustard recipe.
  7. Serve with lamb, chicken or possibly fish.
  8. TARRAGON MUSTARD: When adding egg yolks, also add in tarragon and follow basic mustard recipe.
  9. Serve with lamb, chicken, shrimp or possibly steaks.
  10. SPICY MUSTARD: When adding egg yolks, also add in turmeric and cloves and follow basic mustard recipe.
  11. Serve with ham, hamburgers or possibly warm dogs.
  12. TOMATO MUSTARD: When adding egg yolks, also add in paprika, pimento and tomato paste and follow basic mustard recipe.
  13. Serve with seafood, hamburgers, warm dogs or possibly ham.
