Trishas Pasta Salad

  1. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and cook for 9 minutes, or until it is tender; you dont want it too al dente.
  3. Drain the pasta and transfer it to a mixing bowl.
  4. When the pasta has cooled to room temperature, add the cheese, olive oil, tomatoes, broccoli, and bell pepper, and mix well.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and mix again.
  6. Top with the sunflower kernels.
