Peri peri prawns recipe
- 2 kg (4.4lbs) tiger prawns
- 200 ml (7fl oz) peri peri sauce
- 50 ml (1.8fl oz) olive oil
- 6 fresh lemon wedges
- Marinate the whole prawns in peri peri sauce for 12 hours.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat oil in frying pan.
- Drain the prawns, reserving the peri peri sauce, and cook in the pan until crispy and pink/red.
- Once they're fairly crispy, pour peri peri sauce over them, to taste.
- Gently simmer until thoroughly cooked.
- Garnish with fresh lemon, serve with savoury rice.
