Deep Fried Camembert Cheese Recipe
- 1 (8 ounce.) Rouge et Noir Camembert or possibly Brie cheese
- Flour
- Large eggs
- Bread crumbs
- Oil
- Have the cheese very cool.
- (You may even use it frzn slightly.)
- Cut in small wedges and lightly coat with flour.
- Dip each wedge in slightly beaten egg and coat in fine bread crumbs.
- Chill several hrs before frying.
- Fry in 1 1/2 inches of very warm oil (385 degrees) about 1 1/2 min or possibly till golden.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or possibly as a light dessert with your favorite jam.
