Isty-Bitsy Burgers
- 1 lb ground dark-meat turkey
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 8 small buns (I prefer rolls)
- olive oil, for brushing
- tomatoes, cheese (any topping you want)
- Heat grill until hot.
- Oil the grates.
- In a medium bowl, mix together turkey, salt, pepper, and ketchup with hands.
- Roll turkey mixture into 8 balls.
- Gently press down to make 1/2 inch-thick patties.
- Lightly brush insides of rolls with olive oil.
- Grill patties 6 minute Turn with tongs; top with cheese if you are using it.
- Grill about 6 minute more, until cooked through and an instant-read thermometer inserted into center registers 165 degrees.
- Toast rolls on grill.
- Place burgers in rolls; garnish as desired.
