Very Good Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 2 c. chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 c. chopped stuffed olives
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. noodles
- In a large frypan, saute peppers, celery, onion and ground meat in butter.
- Add salt.
- Reduce heat; cook 5 minutes.
- Stir in mushrooms, canned soup and sauces; cook 5 minutes.
- Cook noodles by box directions; drain.
- Turn noodles into a 14 x 10 x 2 1/2-inch roasting pan.
- Add sauce mixture and gently mix.
- Add grated cheese to top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about 35 minutes.
