Toasted Italian Biscottis

  1. Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a
  3. time, until light and creamy.
  4. Fold in flavors and milk. Then fold in the dry ingredients (flour, salt and baking powder).
  5. Fold in cut up cherries and nuts.
  6. Bake in a thick jelly roll pan (greased and floured), 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  8. Cut in 3 long lines and then in pieces 1-inch across.
  9. Lay each piece in pan again and toast in oven until light tan.
