Doggie Biscuits For People And Doggies
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. rye flour
- 1 c. corn meal
- 2 c. cracked wheat
- 1/2 c. dry milk
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. very warm water
- 2 to 3 c. chicken or beef broth
- 1 large egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. milk
- Mix flours together with salt in large bowl.
- Sprinkle yeast over warm water in
- small bowl and stir.
- Add yeast and two cups of broth to dry ingredients.
- Mix well with hands until dough is stiff.
- Add a little more broth if necessary.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into desired shapes. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with egg and milk mixture.
- Bake at 300u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Turn off oven and leave overnight.
